Figuring your 4 link is close, the thing that took us from 1.33 to 1.29 in SS\CS was shock settings both front, and rear, and limiting front end travel. Way more in the clutch also, but we never figured it out.

In order of importance: 1) Clutch, 2) Suspension settings - IC manipulation, 3) Shocks, 4) Weight adjustment and placement, 5) Tires (considering you are not doing something stupid now)

Where are you at now, and where do you want to be, and with what combination. Very vauge question. My bracket car is barely in the 9`s (9.972 best), and barely in the 1.2s (1.295 best), and also has ladder bars, with everything ahead of the roll bar main hoop stock. I`m guessing that you are looking deeper in the 1.2sand 9second ETs considerably deeper?

I've been thinking the opposite of what I used to on on rear shocks , meaning I used to like the bump valving stiff to help the car pitch rotate but anymore I'm going softer........and want to try much softer...........to get the car to "squat" and see how this effects the 60s.........definately agree on clutch but I havent figured out the balance between low base and c'weight yet.........I'm also clutch assisted. |

How big of a tire are you running. I can tell you this much about my car, if it hooks , it will run slow, but get a good reation time. If it spins it will pick up 2 to 3 tenths. I only run a pro tree. .4. I set it up to hook, at least I try to. This past weekend, I slipped the clutch at the start, and I thought it slipped the tire then hooked. It was slipping the clutch. If I want to run fast bring up the r's on the starting line take some weight out of the back, slip.the tire some, and it will pick up a bunch. Just have to drive.to keep it in the groove. Lots of fun to drive.it this way. Lenco, with auto shifter.
