Question Forum posting question

Is there any way to force the forum to display a message in plain text? I want to paste a race report that was formatted in a text editor into the body of a new message. It is being converted to Arial(?) and it looks awful.

Example:
FINAL, ROUND 8 ELIMINATIONS
Qua-Driver(Opp'nt)-RT-----ET--(+/-)-Rd-Qua-Driver(Opp'nt)-RT-----ET---(+/-)
12 Jeff Teuton 12.219 -1.081 Q 22 M.J. Quinn 11.797 -0.953
5 (D Magnuson ) 0.570 12.181 -0.039 E5 (B Wenzel Sr.) 0.536 11.777 -0.093
6 (C Knudsen ) 0.594 12.210 0.040 E6 (B Harris ) 0.530 11.806 0.016
7 (B Baker ) 0.501 12.244 0.044 E7 1.332 18.910 6.160
ET/SA Dial: 12.24 J/SA Dial: 11.80
8 *****WINNER***** 0.568 12.260 0.020 E8 0.570 11.780 -0.020

At this point I'm stuck. No matter what you do in the editor you can't use multiple consecutive spaces. They are stripped out when the message goes live in the forum.

Examples (I entered 5 spaces between each letter in the HTML editor):

A B C D E

A B C D E

A B C D E

Additionally, if you edit in the WYSIWYG editor, the multiple spaces that you previously entered are then stripped out, IN THE EDITOR, after you preview. But if you switch back to the HTML editor you see that all the original spacing still remains, in the editor only. This seems like a bug in the forum software.

Easy - post a link to the source instead of cutting and pasting copyrighted material.

Larry has a good point. DRC uses allot of resources and hard work to bring you quailifying and round resutls.

I think out of respect alone you just post the link to the page.

Mike to answer your question, you can not copy and past the DRC format. The forum does not use the html code on DRC, it just reads the info. There is no bug in the software, its designed that way for a reason.
