I was recently given a 78 Volare with a 225, seeing what is being done with the dime rocker concept this would be a interesting build. I went to see what pistons are available I see nothing but Ross and JE are choices. Just the cost of the pistons would I think take this out of the whole concept if the dime rocket. Is it possible just to use the replacement pistons from sealed power or would I have submit one of these to the NHRA?

If it is not on the list you will have to submit one for approval, If it passes they will add it to the list. Mario, |

I believe you can use the stock factory pistons. You might be able to find some on the slant six sites.
I had a go round with NHRA a few years back when the told me the original stock pistons were not allowed but logic prevailed.

You might consider the 318 combo as it is pretty inexpensive and fast!
