I have a place here in NJ to take my car, just wondering what to try on the dyno ??
If Anyone had their car on a chassis dyno & can shed some light it would be Greatly Appreciated. I run a 305 F.I. Stock Elim. Car.

jetting changes---different carburetors----- if you are feeling especially chipper maybe a converter swap??--different headers--different timing levels

Looks like he stated it's an injected engine, mapping the fuel table would be my first step then bring in the timing map to finish off. Assuming you can make those sort of changes. Short of making mechanical changes to the engine. Joe

Pete You may not like my answer but Joe has it part way right. Unless you have a breaking up problem that you are trying to find. I would save the money your going to spend on the chassis dyno. The mapping I would be doing is the route to one of the several good engine shops we have here in Div. 1 You may need to sell your brothers family car but it will be worth it in the long run. If I have learned anything racing It's cheaper to do it right the first time. If you don't you will spend the same amount trying to save money doing wrong several times. Love you Brother Barry

Pete,
I agree with Mark, Jeff is pretty good with tuning both carbs /injection... You should talk to your buddy Joe Dee , he knows Jeff well... I wish I was closer to Jeff , so he could help me out.... Good Luck..

X's 3 on Jeff. If your engine is a good piece it's all in the F.I. tuning. Lee.
