Looking for replacement leaf springs for 1980 Aspen. Factory springs are FLAT and too brittle to re arch. The 318 does not make enough HP to warrant Cal Tracs. The F body seems to be missing in spec catalogues of spring manufacturers. I think the MP SS springs are over kill and probably won't let the suspension work with such a low HP. Thanks

I have Super launchers off our Aspen that I would sell for 200. that work great!
Probably too expensive to ship unless you have a friend going out West to race and can bring them back. |

There are different weight SS springs. My Volare had been converted over to A-Body springs by a prior owner. They're very close, just needs a different front spring box. Didn't even discover it until we went to put the CalTracs on, with the *proper* spring!
I ran SS springs and a pinion snubber for a million years (still do on my bracket car), but it might be cheaper in the long run to just get the CalTracs once and be done with it. Alex Denysenko is a dealer for them, and can also help you with setup advice. http://www.moneymakerracing.net/home
