M68, some cool shots of the Mach 1 Mustang called Pony Express...sorry I don't know any other info about the car, maybe someone else here can chime in and tell us more about it.

That was my uncle's (Jeff Velde) first race car. He sold it new at the dealership to a guy that we are still friends with. The guy got 3 speeding tickets and traded it back in to the dealership. My uncle took it and made it a race car. Pretty rare car. Super Cobra jet with a 4 speed and 4.30 gears in meadowlark yellow, which was a rare color in 69.

Hey HM,
This is a 69 2+2 car which is a cheap body not the mach. Factory 428CJ 4 speed. The car was and is still owned by one of my dad's old friends. Dad and Jerry Greenham would swap engines and trannys between this car and the Cobra. If I remember correctly they set the D/S record in this car at Muncie in '78 at a 11.41 but don't hold me to that as I was only a year old at that time LOL

Not a Mach 1 but rather an original CJ. A local car. a stick, radio & heater delete if I member correct
