Default Jerry Maxwell

I would like to send our condolences to the Maxwell and the Goodyear family. Mr. Jerry will truly be missed; it won't be the same at the races without him. RIP Mr. Jerry

- The Hidalgo family

Wow! I hate that we lost him. A really good guy! He helped me a lot when I was circle track racing with tires. Jerry will surely be missed. R.I.P.

Jerry was a true gentleman, always ready to help. I just talked to him 3 weeks ago and ask him how he was doing and he told me fine.

Cooter do you have anyother info? Can't believe he's gone.

God Speed Jerry

Is this the Jerry Maxwell that raced a Monza in I think SS/CX?

Don't think so Joe. He was from Carter Maxwell Goodyear out of OKC. I was racing dirt circle tracks around here in the '80s. He was selling tires then, not racing. I think Jerry was about 80 years of age. He sure helped me a lot. Smart guy. Good man.

Ok, as I've never met the Jerry that drag races only spoke with him on the phone. Hate to hear of anyone passing, especially folks I know. Joe
