Not unless you do major surgery. Both inside the wheel well and the quarter panel would need modified. Correct backspacing and wheel spacers are still needed for a 28x9 M/T on my car, as the tire is inside the wheel well. The 79-93 are the same shell. If you need any more help let me know.

I run the 30x9" Hoosier radial on my '87, just one thing you need to make it work. 10# hammer will do the trick.

All depends on the roll out of the tire. You need something with a short roll out if you dont want to do any major surgery.

Sean, are you running the 10" wheel? I run an 8 1/2"

10" with 6.5" BS.
29.5x9 fit with this wheel after painting the car.

10" wheel with 6" BS works great with drum brakes, and 6.5" BS for most disk brakes. Like others have said, BFH to the inner wheel well, and about an inch pie cut below the belt line in front and a half inch pie cut in the rear and you will be golden.

Others have run a 8" wheel with 5.5" BS with no cutting...

I didn't want to trim mine any, so i stuck with 28's. 8" wheel, 5.5 bs.
What rear gear do you guys run with the 29.5 or 30's? - 5.13?
