Default Alternator ??

What ALTERNATOR is best for a car with a Elec. fuel pump Magna-fuel 300
elect. fan MSD 6-AL, and Mazire watter pump?

Any good 60 amp one wire alternator will do the job. I like the small CS-120 series GM alternator.

Remember though, you need to put it on an 80 amp or so relay, so that your kill switch will shut the car off. A spinning 60 amp one wire alternator with an 8 gauge wire run to one battery will keep the car running after they turn the kill switch off, unless it is run through a relay or solenoid.

If you run it through a 30 amp relay, it will burn the relay and the wiring up, I've seen it done. You need an 80 amp relay and an 8 gauge or bigger charge wire from the alternator to the relay, and from the relay to the battery.

Also you could use a 4 pole cut-off switch and wire you MSD igntion on wire (small red wire) throught the two 10-32 termenals of the cut-off switch.

That will kill the car with a working alternator
