Years ago [Byron] I watched a stock looking 62 Catalina 2ht rip off 9.30's @142 on factory 8 lugs and 10in tires. Big poncho motor with 2 Holleys and a jerico. IMPRESSIVE.

Nice....I grew up drooling over cars like that!
Nothing nicer than a '61 Ventura or a '62 like yours. Tri-Power 389 or even a nice 421.....Stick or Auto... 12.20's in that car would be fun...

Just GREAT to see an early 60's GM,,, Chevy or Pontiac in particular, posted here ! !
Seems like it's only the Mopars ( there's no Fords either ? ) that get "air time" from the true beginning of the muscle car era. If it's OK, I'll save a couple of those pictures on my computer.
