Does anyone know which washer and lugnut to use on a 1972 Olds Cutlass when installing old Cragar SSTs (street version of the super tricks?
Is the olds a 7/16ths or 1/2 diameter stud

The 'unilug" was an oval shaped wheel stud opening that would allow for either a 4.5" (AMC, Ford, Mopar) or 4.75" (GM) bolt circle using only (5) openings in the wheel (versus the Cragar Super Tricks and later Weld Wheels that had a total of (10) openings per wheel top accomodate both bolt circles). They sold a lug nut washer which had the same shape and when it was all bolted on the car, you saw 5 lug nuts and no open areas.
I'm guessing this is what your looking for? And I would also guess an Olds is 1/2" x 20 wheel stud.
