I just bought a 92 Grand Am...Its not a SuperStock car (yet) but was built to be a clone...I was told that its a FJ car, or built with a FJ kit and built 10-12 years ago. What I need help with is the front struts. I was told that the struts are Aerospace units, and when I called Aerospace, they told me they never built any for a S/S car...they dont appear to be adjustable (no external knobs)....They are super stiff and I'm trying to get any info I can...
Looking at them, they have a long aluminum body, with an adjusting ring, but no identifying marks that I can see...They do have Aerospace brakes... Any suggestions or help would be appreciated..

Dave ,those struts sound like the old Chassis Engineering units.
E-mail me a picture and I can confirm it. Now the bad news, no one will repair or rebuild them, at least I've not found anyone yet for the pair that are on a car in my shop.

FJ used Strange for most of his builds and kits. Checkout his website at www.SmithPerformance.com
