Default 80 turbo Buick

My buddy has an 80 Regal, 231/ 170HP turbo which comes in at 16.18 but I cannot find where the class designation is on any site. Would someone tell me what class it would fit in and maybe point me to the site? Has anyone ever seen one of these cars run? Thanks

Seems to me you would want to do a Presto, Chango into an 80 Monte Carlo...
Same engine,, 190 hp

Bob Shaw ran the 2 bbl version. I believe Neil Smedley was the ony one to run that combo (quadrajet) in recent years and he did not have the best of times with it. Putting the drivetrain in a monte carlo for over 200 pound makes sense.

Thanks all for the input, he does not want to put the effort into a project that will not be competitive.
