Talking 454 Intake recommendations

I am putting a 454 crate motor in a 66 chevelle. What is a good intake for street driving with the odd track day.I would like to run a q-jet and not hit the hood. Thanks for the input

Performer is probably your only choice if you dont wanna run a 4150-q-jet adapter. I have a performer on my 79 Wagon and it goes 6800 every chance i give it.

I put this engine in a 68 chevelle with a RPM Airgap and the adapter for a Q-jet but had to run a 2 inch air cleaner and a Moroso drop base.It fit under the hood however I was told a 66 has a lower hood line.I was looking at the Performer RPM Q-Jet to get away with no (.750) spacerThanks Tony.
