I've never seen one with 3 tail lights on each side like this? Did some come this way? I'm just curious. Boy would I love to have one! LOL

A common modification back in the day. They only had two tail lights per side when stock.
Hell, I'd like to have that one.

Looks a little RUSTY to me....lol
I have a friend around the corner from me that has around 30-35 1963 -1967 vettes in his shop. Some are rare and some are drivers and priced high and low.....

I have some knowledge of mid-year Corvettes (currently restoring a 66) and I can say that no production 63 - 67 Corvette ever came with 3 tailights.

Anyone remember the kit that came out in '64 to convert your split-window Corvette to the newer design one-piece rear window? Then about 10 years later, the kit to convert it back!

Yep. I remember it. I used to have a '63 split window. A red one.... and a '66 white convertible. And a '67 L-88 (SS/A, SS/B) although it was not original.

63-67 vette has always been my dream race car, maybe one of these days.
Have you ever heard there is supposed to be more 63 split windows titled now than were produced?I also heard that on 69 DZ camaros, FI 57's. Is it true or myth maybe mythbusters would investigate it? Mike Taylor 3601 |

Mike I can believe your statement. When those vehicles suddenly started to command big $$ and with all of the reproduction parts available, clones of these cars started to come out of the woodwork. The bad guys will do just about anything to swindle a buck out of some unsuspecting buyer. I wonder how many bogus L-88 Corvettes are out there?

There are more 427/435 HP 1967 Vettes than GM ever built. Thats a fact.
