Default Any machinists set valves on an DOHC motor?

I have been looking at my solid lash adjusters. And there is no room to get a feeler gauge inbetween the valve and the rocker (the rocker has a channel that rides on the valve)

I can measure the distance between the cam and the roller on the rocker.

The only way I can adjust them is to do it one cylinder at a time (2 intakes or 2 exhausts)
Then pull the cam and adjusters lock the locknuts, then recheck them. Then move on to another pair of valves
Any ideas on an easier way to do it?
