Default Boosted classes in stock? Is it time forsee new technology?

Just a curious question and discussion topic about change and evolution. With the new cars being introduced in stock and current performance of the CJ's, would it not be smart for NHRA to introduct a boosted class for OEM boosted combonations. This would bring new cars into stock and possibly Super Stock as well. Rules will have to be put in place to restrice pulley's and turbo size but this is a direction NHRA may want to consider and put in place before more changes in production cars occur. Please fire away, all thoughts welcome. Just a curious question from a young college student and fan of sportsman racing.

PS: With talks of an FX classes possibly coming into stock later on, would it also not be smart to include some of the SS only cars in the class as well( i.e. 68 Race hemi darts and barracudas)

Thats what all the bitchen is about, you cant mix old with new. A year or two in FX till the hp gets sorted out like it did with the GM cars. They can still run stock elim. but with their own index. Then you can put them back in the regular classes after they are factored right.

Thats why I think an AA-"..."/FX(for factory race ready cars) and a class such as AA-"..."/SB and AA/ST(AA Stock Blower/Turbo) class could work to mix old and new without any problems. Its a new class but it could compartmentalize some future issues.

They have boosted classes available for V8's?

What's classification is that, I have a rulebook and have never seen it for stock?
I'm aware of the one's available or smaller engines but not for V8 combos. Cause if thats the case, why weren't the CJ's in that class to begin with?

If the car comes stock with a turbo or blower it runs in stock class with the turbo or blower that came on the car.
Why would you need a special class in a Pounds per HP eliminator.

Why not just change all the "old cars" designation to "N" like in Nostalgia
