The Mid Atlantic Super Gas Association will swing back into action after a short 1 week break. For anyone who runs Super Gas, Super Rod, Division 1,2 or 3 on the East Coast this is the race to be at as it's the annual "Uncle Buck's Pig Roast" on Saturday Night. Cecil does run a street/test and tune program on Friday night so anyone who would like to get in early and park gates open at 5pm. As far as the time for gates opening on Saturday and Sunday the Schedule says 8am (Racing starting at 9) but, Lucky is going to get a firm time for us in a few days. Remember to get there early because Cecil is very firm on their times and when they call you to the lanes be ready to run cause they don't fool around. We would like for everyone to park over in the grass area of the track (Enter in Gate #2) this way it makes it easier to pair cars for 1st round and we don't have to do much walking to the Pig Roast (Cecil has a curfew on the use of Go-Karts, Golf Carts, Scooters). PLEASE WATCH FOR RESERVED SPOTS FOR THE BRACKET AND JUNIOR DRAGSTERS GUYS ON THAT SIDE BECAUSE YOU WILL HAVE TO MOVE IF YOU PARK IN ONE OF THEIR SPOTS. Lucky will also find out in the next few days if we can leave our trailers at the track for the following weekends LODRS event. It all depends on if they have to cut the grass or not in the field. Entry fee is $ 35.00 paid at the gate and then the MASGA fee paid to Leanne at Lucky's trailer. Payout is based on a 32 car field. Any questions please forward them to Leanne at leanneluciano@hotmail.com, visit us on www.facebook.com or www.midatlanticsupergas.com.
Weather outlook for this weekend:: http://www.accuweather.com/us/md/ris...ils.asp?fday=1 Hope to see LOTS of 9.90 racers out at the track this weekend! Rob K. |
