I'm an idiot. I want to issue a public apology. I wrote the race coverage for the Summit Allstars race, and made a massive error (or two). I mentioned the line-up of competitors, and left out Alex Denysenko. To add insult to injury, I noted event winner Michael Lyons as the Div. 5 champ. Denysenko was the Div. 5 champ; Lyons was the Div. 3 champ.

I pride myself on giving recognition to "the little guys" - us Sportsman racers. Those are the kinds of errors that infuriate me when I catch other people doing it, and I'm deeply ashamed to find myself on the other end of the stick this time. I still can't believe I screwed up that bad. There's no excuse for it.

All I can say is, I'm sorry, Alex. You worked your tail off to get to Rockingham (twice), and worked your tail off *at* the track, too. You deserved better.

If you wind up with two flat slicks in the staging lanes at the next race you will know Alex didn't accept your apology! We all know that both you and Alex are classy guys and it shows with your public apology! Jim

Don't be too hard on Beard..or let him off so easy... Either his head was swollen up causing brain fade or he was busy trying to figure how to Raffle off all his spare entries to the Champions race. Seems to be eliminating some of the competition before the race!! ?? :~)
I've been off work sick for a week or so. Your converter is boxed and ready to ship. I just haven't been there to do it. I might make it back after the holiday.

I don't know if I'd say idiot.......Maybe a "drivin fool" this year. Now if we could just get you in one of those new Challengers. There's several out there that could use a good shoe. Do you think you you could handle driving two or three cars at the same race! LOL
