Question Oil Filter?

What oil filter do you guys recommend for a SBC stocker?

Wix filter hear, also. Make sure it is the racing filter because the regular filters will restrict the flow too much. Wix Racing filters for the SBC part number 51069R for the short and 51060R for the tall filter. One of them will normally fit most applications.

I use the System One re usable filter. They cost a little more up front but you never have to buy another filter. Under no circumstances use an AC Delco filter. Some of them have plastic components inside the filter. I lost two engines last year because of these filters. Be real careful with any filter that is not specifically built for a race engine.

The AC Delco filters are sourced by Champion,they have the plastic core in the center.The NAPA gold filters are Wix.Motorcraft is a Purolater.

Lost engine with ac/delco. ( Collapsed) Use NAPA GOLD now ,NO Problems
