Default Trick racing gas

Does anyone have any experience with the Trick racing gas in fuel checks? Just wondering if Trick has problems passing as it is easier to get and cheaper than the c10 we are running right now.

Probably less expensive than what you run now , if it's listed as an accepted fuel for IHRA and NHRA as Competition Race Fuels are , there shouldn't be any problem in tech .

Just because a fuel is accepted doesn't mean it passes fuel check. I have seen everything from VP to Sunoco and Competition race fuels fail.

FYI,

If you can get it in your area, I have never had a problem with passing fuel check with Rockett Brand 111 or 114 octane, even after the fuel sitting in the jug or fuel cell over the Winter.... seems to run crisper in my particular engine (F/SA Oldsmobile w/455) as well.

Trick fuel will never pass because it is not on the approved list-end of that story. Floyd, are you saying that the fuel we use is overpriced and has a shelf life of 4 hours? Just wondering.......

If trick racing gas isn't on the approved list can someone please explain to me what fuel we would be buying if we bought the fuel listed under Sunoco as:

Trick Racing Gas Light Blue -0.42 0.720

When we look up Trick Racing gas online these are very similar specs to Trick Racing's 110.

LOL. Thats funny. According to NHRA you can buy a brand new drum of VP at the track, put it in your car, make a pass and fail fuel check. But NHRA testing equipment is NEVER WRONG and VP doesn't sell BAD FUEL so you must have been cheating. IT is also amazing how the same fuel from the same fuel cell passes ten minutes later.

Matt I believe when I sold Trick years ago with Turbo Blue and VP, Trick was just pump gas Oxy, MTBE with additives put in from the plant and mixed when being delivered. Sounds corny but I think it really is the truth. Desert guys loved it, motocross guys loved. I didnt know it was still made.
