Has anyone used the Howards pistons in stock? Just wondering on performance as someone wants to sell me a set pretty reasonable.

They are probably fine, if you're just going to bracket race, but, they are'nt on the NHRA accepted list. I did'nt look on IHRA page yet. I have'nt used any of their rods or pistons, but going by what I've read of other users, they're pretty good quality stuff.

I'm pretty sure that the Howard's piston is manufacture by Ross. Give Ross a call.

I have a set of Howards in my bracket engine and on the back side the markings are "HRC by Ross".
