I have a 78 Malibu wagon, that is going to be a little footbrake bracket car. I have a bolt-in 9 inch in it. I was wondering if anyone knew what size tire and wheel will fit without having to notch the frame.
Thanks, Tyler |

It will only run 11.90's at the quickest. I was thinking around maybe a 15x8 wheels with 4 1/2 backspace. Tire size I was hoping a 30x9, but if I have to go smaller I will.

I use 30x9 on a 15x10 with 5 inch BS on my 78 Malibu wagon but you need to check your housing width flange to flange measurement to be sure it's the same as stock.
Good luck, Dave |

my Cutlass (same chassis as your malibu) I run an 8" wheel with 4 1/2 back spacing....4 3/4 would work better. When I bought the car it had 10" wheels on it & they worked with wheel spacers.
