Question Las Vegas SuperStock / Stock Combo

Is this considered a good turnout?

Talking Re: Las Vegas SuperStock / Stock Combo

I overstaged the truck on first qualifying pass. I backed up and made the pass: 12.40 on 13.37 new index. Weighed OK but was told pass did not count because of overstaging (tower did not red light me because they did not think I could get staged before tree was activated). Rearend sounded kind of loud on return road and was told since run was DQed I could change cars for tomorrow! I decided the engine is broken in enough ..... I'm going to change 4.86 to 5.13 for Pomona. I have had so much Drama with Truck ... I don't want to tempt fate and crash the darn thing again. I am bringing the 71 Demon tomorrow and I will run that in combo. If Drooze is in Pomona... I will run the truck and risk screwing up HP, otherwise I will run Demon...that is already factored nearly to death.

So far so good, still running dyno work, 8000 shooting for 9000 on the Dyno, Torque is SICK.....I mean SICK.....

Load out for TX tommorow AM, Testing track side on Sunday, assuming we dont break anything in testing or out "extreme" dyno pulls, this Dyno is a work of ART.......Guess there is a reason for a Dyno that costs more than the car Im still shocked at what a dyno like this costs but....well guess you get what you pay for......And Im damm glad that we dont have to pay anything to have it dialed on the thing, I cant imagine what 20 hrs of dyno time would cost (obviously not running that much time)

I was going to shoot some vids up but the damm hotel is too slow internet connection and I need to SLEEP .....lol

Till tommorow.

taking away the grade point killed the turnout. I know of at least 15 cars that did not show because the grade point situation.

Ah I Stand corrected. The guys in the tower just told me you broke it and were changing cars. We are currently wet here at the hotel.

Did I read it right that IF there were at least 64 cars, the winner of this race would get $12,000?

Tony, since you are in Las Vegas and its raining, maybe you could start taking everyone's SuperBowl bets?

LOL!

Yep. 64 cars or more would have paid $12,000.00 to the winner. As you read we have 27. The rest are fairly weak too.

Nah. Not worried about betting..... unless if its on rain before or after noon...... Im thinking its back by 11.30 unless the wind starts blowing a touch north and we can be in between the 2 cells.

Heard that Kurt, Warren, and Larry are stuck in Atlanta in some snow......
