APE in the Lakeland/Bartow area. It is owned by Kevin Willis who races a gold A/S Camaro. Sorry, but I do not have his number. Scott Bailey also works there now.

May want to look and see who has a DynaPack in Florida, there is one but I think they do mostly canam and porsche and exotics.
Kill 2 birds with 1 stone instead of doing seperate engine dyno. Im assuming (and maybe incorrect) you are going to be doing your own tuning. A hub dyno has resolution a inertia dyno can only dream of, and a hub dyno like a dynapack is a load type , like an engine dyno. They do generally run a bit conservitive when compared to an inertia dyno, but you a)dont have to worry about a dyno accident, when bored look up dyno accident on YouTube....funny stuff....and you dont have to worry about tire slippage etc, a load can be spun up faster for the car instead of the gradual inertial roller type....and b) dont have to worry about computer "estimates" based on inertia....thats how a roller works...some are fairly close, others are way off.....less of an issue, and if you do a seperate engine dyno you can really figure out parasitic loss RIGHT. Ive seen one used, and our car is going on one soon as its finished ... IIll....never use another type of "Chassis Dyno" again.... Just my 2 cents.... |
