Default Mickey Thompson Tire / Suspension, Help !

On our Camaro we ran the 18260D5
Specs in link
http://www.jegs.com/i/Hoosier/522/18260D05/10002/-1#
od 32.6"
tread 15"
section 18.4"
stiff sidewall
D05 compound

We replaced the tires with Mickey Thompson 3075's with the L8 compound.
specs in link
od 32.5"
tread 14.8"
section 18"

Problem with the tires is, the ET is all over the place. Last week with the Hoosier's it should have ran about a 10.49 or so as the track was not there,,, The 3075's went as quick as 10.43 but was all over the board as far as ET's and our best MPH ever with the Hoosiers was 128.42, we exceeded 129mph

Now this week with it being humid and hot with a good track the Hoosiers would have been mid 10.40's to 10.50 , The 3075's have been a best this weekend of 10.58 THUS FAR

Here is what im thinking, The Camaro has always had a stiff sidewall tire, because of the new engine going in we wanted a slick. My Chevelle wants the rear shocks as tight as you can set them, The Camaro always wanted the rear shocks 4-5 away from full stiff.

Now with the non stiff sidewall im thinking we need to set the shocks to full stiff with the Mickey Thompson 3075 non stiff side wall tires.

We ran 6psi with the Hoosiers, we are running 6.5psi with the Mickey Thompson tires.

I do know the Mickey Thompson tires are hooking harder, in the burnout the Hoosiers would try to grab until high gear , the Mickey Thompson tires are trying to hook before you get in high gear

What do you think ? Try more air pressure and tighten up the shocks ? Im also gonna raise the launch rpm up from 3,200rpm to 4,800rpm

Any thoughts ??

I would try 8psi and see what happens. M/T like more air pressure and less burnout. The L8 compound is VERY soft. Also try stiffening the rear one click at a time I think you will find stiffer is better.
