Default shock setting ??

on my rancho 9000 shock to increase tire grip go to a higher setting or lower. 1-9 setting on shock.

good question...mine obviously came with the same instructions as yours did...none.
What shock setting promotes more separation?

Throw them in the Crash can, and buy some strange double adjusters or singles you will see a big difference. But the best setting I found was on 5.

Mine seem to work, as the lower the number,the more separation.I look at the Caltrac/mono leaf/Rancho setup like this;the "bars" get you off the line,the mono leafs/shocks keep you/your tires/ planted.This is how the setup works for me,and the way I understand it.Keeping in mind that I have a 4-speed.
