Well, guys, i have my 1st NHRA Stocker shortblock assembled. All is well... Keep in mind , this is sort of a budget build, so, i dont have the best of the best, but i believe that i have some good parts, to get goin. Heads are being done, as we speak. Hope to have it in car, early March, so i can test, before the INdy April meet. Heck, i gotta get my membership and car #! hehe... THanks for all the good advice, and support, i have recieved on CR.com. You guys rock! Here is a pic of the completed shortblock, as of this past Monday evening....

Brent,,, do you plan on taking the car to Columbus,, the 1st weekend in May for the inaugural Northern Class Nationals? It should be on every racers' bucket list for next spring. If so,, I hope to meet you there,, take care.

If they do it this time around like it was run in 2001 at Byron,, they had, I believe 186 stockers on the property,, and I forget how many Superstockers, which is why many referred to it as the "Woodstock" of class racing.
Nitro Joe can correct me on this if I'm off on the count,, but it was a memorable event that I'll always be glad I flew out to see it. Take care. Danny Durham |

Finally finished wiring the MSD 6AL/2step/Blaster2 Coil up today. Got it running, set timing 34*, sounds real good...just got to tidy up some of the wires, that were there before i hooked it up. Anyone running a the same parts, and are the Blaster2 coils problematic? And should i have mounted it straight up and down? Thoughts?
