Default Stocker cam question?

Was at Reynolds today and it seems that the stocker cams seem to be a little more aggresive at idle while driving through the pits! I like that choppy sound why do they idle so rough because so much dur.and LSA with short lift? First time I been to a Div. race in a long time really missed that sound!

What are the specs on a stocker cam for a 302 Ford? Are they all the same as far as a flat tappet non roller engine? Auto-Stick????

Default Re: Stocker cam question?

They do sound great ... some have up to 50 or more degrees duration at .050 than the OE cam they replace.
