Talking Roller Rockers On A 300HP Chebbie Crate Motor

I was wondering what brand of 1.5 roller rockers that you guys have run on these heads. Just looking at the different styles, some seem larger in physical size, like a Comp cams , Crane etc compared to the Crower stainless steel which looks somewhat smaller. Will these rockers fit under the steel center bolt factory stock ones, with the shields and deflectors or do you need the GM Perf aluminum ones or other aftermarket ones? The GM ones are about 1/4 inch taller, I don't want the adjusting nuts or anythng to be hitting or rubbing. Thanks!

The stock center bolt valve covers work fine.I cut one of the supports that go from the valve cover to the center bolt sleeve for some added clearance.I used the comp chrome moly rockers, but I think the harland sharp are cheaper.I used screw instuds and guide plates but will not the next time.I like the Harland sharp self aligning rockers with stock pressed in studs.Good luck
