Bluegrass Dragway Racers Reunion
Bluegrass opened in 1964 as Bluegrass Raceway a few years later the name was changed to Bluegrass Dragway.
The track was located 5 miles from Lexington on US 27 South in the limits of Nicholasville, Kentucky. The track played host to a number of NHRA Divison 3 points series events in the mid 60's thru 1970. The origional "Bluegrass Nationals" events were started here and were held thru the tracks closing in '81. . Later switching to IHRA sanction the track hosted many IHRA-Winston Points Series races. Bluegrass Dragway closed for the final race at the facility in November 1981.
