There is alot of info missing. Did you simply swap the carb and fuel? Did you make timing adjustments to compensate for a slower burning fuel? What type of carbs? Jet size? etc? Did you switch to pump gas or race fuel? Alcohol burns cleaner and faster. If the car was set up for Alky it takes more than switching a carb to get the same results.

the gas carb haves 83 in front and 83 in backs carb is a 930 it haves racing fuel in it and no timing adv/retart and it is running out of fuel at the 2cars from the 1/8. the carb is a chuck nutton. it is slow from last year across the broad 60 ft. 330 and 1/8 and speed. the carb is a 750 bore to 930. thank's

Try 87's in the front and 92's in the back. You may have to go to 90 squared or 92 squared if it still runs out of fuel on the top end. If it loads up with the 87's drop to 85's and 90 to 92's in the rear.

how much fuel pursure do you have to have with a belt drive pump to fuel a gas carb? when we got the carb from chuck it had 73's in the front at 80's in the rear. we switch to 83 front and back and it haves a power valve in it. why? the fuel pursure is more than 8 pounds. thanks.

3 to 5 max. anything over 6 usually causes problems. Power valve is builder choice.
