Re: flexplates
I just put a new one in my car. The old one had gone out of date. They might be checking that at the first fee events. One year they were jacking up the cars and checking. I have pictures of all my certifications on my phone

Re: flexplates
Got mine for my build in the mail a few weeks ago. Y'all have preferences? I just got the el-cheapo sfi certified one from Jegs given I'm not trying to rotate the Earth. I've had no issues on my .90 stuff with them too but some people swear by particular brands.

Re: flexplates
I have used the Summit and Pioneer ones and haven’t had a problem. One had some chipping on the teeth after several years. Still worked when I removed it. This go around I bought one from ATI. The quality is much better. Thicker steel and the ring gear is Tig welded at closer intervals.

Ken Kier makes blanket that is supposed fit real good. I was thinking about that too. Went with the aluminum shield.

Re: flexplates
TCI says they don't know when they will be able to send one! May have to look at a blanket.
