Default LT-1 valve guides

Quick question for you LT-1 guys . Got a set of heads for a racer and they have stock guides in them with proper clearances . This is a SS application and he insists he wants new guides . The heads are like new . Is it worth it to change the guides or just leave them be ? Thanks in advance .

If they are good now ,they probably won't be long after SS use...
they don't need 11/32 valves in SS either... 5/16 or 8MM will be lighter and a little more air... liners to reduce or I prefer replacing with bronze guide, less chance for a problem..... I would check with SI valves they have a lot of bronze guides nobody else has....
