Sad to see the old Lightning Chassis retired. That thing should be next to Swamp Rat 1 down in FL as many rounds as that thing has gone. Good luck to Doug in his new venture.

It's too bad that Doug will have to forfeit all of his 2007 JEGS All-Stars points in SC, now that he's got a "factory" ride and all...
Sepanek and I need a little breathing room... srm P.S. -- Congrats Doug, all the best with the new ride |

Congrats to Doug and the gang at S&W Race Cars. When you have a Great Racer matched with a Great Company it is a winning combination.
Pro-Motion Engines of East Hanover, NJ is happy to announce that Doug has chosen engine builder Larry Lempicki to provide the horsepower to motivate the S&W piperack. Many are familiar seeing Doug and his 414" SBC turing on win lights in the past, but times are changing. For 2008 Doug and Larry have decided to build a conventional headed 582" BBC. Doug wanted to build a triple threat motor...Super Comp/Top Dragster/Brackets that could handle the 300+ passes he plans to make in 2008. Keep your eyes open for the new bullet strapped in between the frame rails of the S&W house car. Congratulations to Doug & Dad on putting together a combination that will undoubtedly make you guys even tougher on us in '08. A proven driver in a proven car with plenty of proven steam on tap to make it all happen, watch out! 'Nuff said. ....Hope to get a sneak peek at the new pipe next week at PRI.
Good Luck & Be Safe! -Don Last edited by SC1448; 11-28-2007 at 09:45 PM. |

I guess I'd better run Division 2 next year, don't want to run against that deal.......Competition is tough enough and we don't need hitters in better cars with more horsepower.....Doug.....STAY AWAY FROM ME IN 08!......
