I remember this date, on this date I walked into the AP room at the American Embassy in New Delhi, India to read that Marines were in the process of evacuating the Embassy in Saigon. As the evac evolved I found out the I had lost two classmates during the bombardment of the airport, Tan Son Nhat. May we all be blessed my the memory of Charles McMahon and Darwin Lee Judge the last Marines killed in Vietnam. Damn Ambassador Martin in delaying the departure by 24 hours thinking he could negotiate with the NVA.
