I have an Onan generator on my trailer and both hour meters have stopped working. Has anyone had any experience with this problem? Is there a battery that keeps them up? I need the fix then ASAP.

They are powered by a DC output from the machine when it runs....
Sounds a bit unusual that the one on the machine and a remote meter would both not be working. The older ones were analog with numbers on rolling wheels,. The newer versions are LCD or something like that.... They read in tenths of an hour.....6 minutes to advance a tenth of an hour.. The remote panels usually are easily removed with 2 screws. Put volt meter on the back of the meter when the generator is running.... DC voltage should be there..... The LCD versions often don't show anything unless you push on the face off them.....They are not very good.....
