Default Air Bag?

I have a question for you guys. Note in the pictures that on the launch that the car is torquing to the right pretty good.Right rear is up in the fender, left rear is out of the fender. Is this costing me ET? Should in put an air bag in the right rear. this is my first time with a fox body mustang. i didn't have this problem with my 67 mustang.

Well, an air bag would be quick and dirty...... and cheap. You might want to see if anyone makes a bolt-in adjustable anti-roll bar (no weld-in anti-roll bars in Stock).

Robbie , I always ran Air Lifts in my coil spring cars. I ran 25-30 in the right and 5-10 , left. It would still torque over unevenly just a bit. Of course it was a stick car.
That kind of setup seems to need a wicked pre-load on the right to straighten the car out 100% on launch.
Do I think you're losing any ET there? Doubtful, if you are dead hooking. If you're not, put that thing in U/SA where it belongs ;-)

What kind of shocks do you have? I removed the air bags from my car when I put AFCO DA shocks on 10+ years ago. You should be able to control the body rotation with the shock.

On my Fairmont I started off with the original stock rear springs, no sway bar and QA1 double adjustable shocks. I can tell you that investing in those shocks was a tough decision but a good one. Even though my car is a stick it didn’t work well at all and the right rear tire hit the inside fender well on launch. As I progressed (after talking with Sean a lot), I installed Mustang GT springs with rubber spacers on top to get the ride height correct. Right side spring spacer was 3/4 taller than left. Air bag would do the same except as it compresses the effective compression rate changes...I think. I added a stock sway bar. No air bags. The springs, spacers and sway bar helped.
Then I moved to the front which I hadn’t touched except for a 90/10 strut. Loosened up the bushings changed the caster camber plates to give more movement, then the car started to rotate a little. Launch is fairly even.
Shock settings are critical as noted.
I have Air bags new in the box for sale.

Robbie,
Remember whatever preload you place back there for launch will transfer to the opposite front corner on braking. All good suggestions. The air bag is probably the quickest and cheapest way to try something. I like the bar.

Airbag RR #25-#35 air pressure. Good to go. It works fine for under 400hp. All I had in my SS'er that goes 11:50s

I have never observed the wheel changing speed up and down on the launch like it did in the right hand slow mo. Was it to much psi or not enough?
