The East Coast Stock Super Stock Association had there final race of the season. It was the last race of the year for D1 racers as the weather is getting cold and the days are shorter. I'm not racing as my car is completely apart getting reading for next season.
Atco is only 40 miles from my house so I took a ride to see Dave Ley and crew and watch and take some photos. It was cold today, 150ft below sea level on the weather station. Temp was about 50, but we had a stiff head and cross wind, 15-20mph. They chose to run a 1/8 mile today, and with a cold track and strong winds, it seemed like a good idea. They had a good turnout, 42 car yesterday and 40 today. It was Jeff Jewell over Bubba Linke for the final. |
