Hats off to Hajek Motorsports for getting the 50th celebration year off to a strong start with its Cobra Jet display at Pomona. The fleet of Hajek CJs pulled off the second incredible debut win for Cobra Jet back in 2009 with John Calvert at the wheel.

This is just one of the 50th Cobra Jet Anniversary events that will take place this year. Mark your calendars now for August 23-26 for what could be the largest Cobra Jet gathering ever. NMCA will host the 50th Anniversary Cobra Jet Reunion at Norwalk that will include both CJs racing and on display. All brands and all years of Cobra Jets are welcome. There will be the Cobra Jet Showdown for modern era CJs and it’s expected to be the largest field ever. And NMCA will have a Stock-SS Combo for you class racers. The plans are still being put together, and it looks to be spectacular. Keep in mind that the Woodward Cruise is the week before in Detroit, which could make for a bucket list road trip – and then on to Indy after the CJ Reunion.

For those who follow Facebook, like the Cobra Jet Reunion page to stay up to date on all of the plans for this event.

And, in just a few weeks, there’s the Spring Cobra Showdown at the NMRA Spring Break in Bradenton – March 1-4.
