I'm going to need a new battery for my 67 Camaro Stocker next year. Want to shed some front end weight; is there a light weight, 12 volt battery on the market that is better than the rest?

Don't know about better than the rest, but we have used this Braille for over three years now without issue in our E/SA '67 Camaro.

Odyssey brand non MJ (Metal Jacket) style are lighter. A PC925 actually weighs 24lbs not the advertised 26, that's with the box for shipping. $154 shipped. I have been running these for the past 10 years without a failure and replace them every 2 years as a maintenance item. Sean

If you wanted to lose a LOT of weight you could go with a Lithium battery. Pretty spendy at $379, but it only weighs 4 pounds! Made in Colorado.

I mounted a Braille in our Dakota Stocker this time last year and it worked fine this summer in some higher than normal summer days - the only thing I noticed with it was I had to continually tighten the top post adapters all summer till they finally seemed to seat but over all between tire/wheel combo and the battery we moved 44 lbs - just my $.02
