If you have the budget and only want the best, contact Kim Rhoads in Pa....I don't have his number, but I'm sure someone does.

If you have the money and wish to do it right, switch it over to any A body after 1967. They are different and stronger (better engineering).
K member and related parts bolt right in. Also, as I recall, there are a few race related front control arms that are better and have better bushings. ![]() |

Yes, the idler arms after 67 are better and much easier to find.
Good luck! Bill |

The 1967 idler arm has a stud on the pivot end and the K-member has one tab. I replaced the idler arm on my 1967 Dart and it seemed like it needed replaced again within a couple of years. I'm going to replace the whole K-member and suspension with disc brakes from a 1973 340 Duster with the spool engine mounts. I'd probably switch to the 1973-6 spool mount K-member. The sway bar is different as it goes through the K-member. I'm not sure if the 1968-1972 idler arm could be adapted by welding on another tab for a double shear arrangement with a thru bolt?

Yes I have, lca with bronze bushing in a steel housing and uca with aluminum-steel bushings. Both have grease fittings. Hope they work, definately free moving. If they don't I'll re-engineer till they do. Pictures for $10,000 LOL
