Are you allowed to run any radiator as long as the dimensions are the same and it fits in the stock location? In other words, can I run an aluminum replacement radiator with 2 electric fans (built on shroud) or does it have to be the stock radiator with the option of electric fans?

Here's what the book says:
RADIATOR Full-size stock radiator mandatory for body used. Aluminum radiators permitted; must retain stock dimensions and appearance. Cutting, denting, or elimination of any body, fender, radiator, or grille panels prohibited. In other words, you can't substitute a transmission cooler or aircraft radiator for a radiator on a BBC. Okay thanks! I wasn't sure how close it had to look to the stock radiator.

This rule gets interpreted pretty loosely. Don't modify the core support to make changes. Don't switch to a cross flow if not orig configuration. You can use a 6 cyl size radiator. I think in general, as long as it looks basically stock, you won't get dinged for it.
