Has General Motors ever produced a rear gear w/9inch ring gear, and have a 10 bolt cover ? Help settle an argument !... Thanks John

I know the 10 bolts came in 7.5'' 8.2'' and 8.5'' I'm not sure what size the BOP. rears were, and there may be more.. I'm no expert. but those arte the ones I'm familiar with.

only ones I can think of that are close to that are different than your info.
There were some Olds that had 12 bolt housing and had 10 bolt gears and unit that you could replace with 12 bolt unit and gears,can't remember but gears would had to of been 8.875 like 12 bolt. The 55-64 BOP stumps have 9.300 gear 10 bolts hold stump in housing,12 ring gear bolts Mike Taylor 3601 |

There was an 8.875" ten bolt used in big cars and caddys during the 70's.
