It should. I had one in my '64 Belvedere.
You may have to roll the lip on the pinch weld in the floor but otherwise it should be fine |

Tom, it's tight but it'll work. That's what I run. The strap buckle needs to be on the linkage side. Mine jams against the tunnel if installed on the passenger side, and doesn't allow proper bolt alignment. -JB-
