Default Considering Dart Iron Eagle for replacement head

In talking with a respected cylinder head shop they tell me the Dart Iron Eagle head is being consider as a SS replacement head. It is Dart #10110010.

Do we have any news about this?

The RHS replacement head listed is no longer available, maybe this is newest substitute.

Larry,

I'm not sure about the acceptance of that head, but if that's the route you decide to go let me know. We're a Dart WD and I'll make you a great deal.

Chad, I have been told NHRA has the head sections from a respected builder and NHRA has "un officially" accepted it as a superseded replacement part.

The builder has an email for NHRA stating the acceptance.

HOWEVER, there is no official word printed anywhere.

Let's keep and eye on the situation.

My thoughts, for long time SS racers with the highly modified original castings this may not be popular.

For new racers entering the SS ranks, investing in a more robust casting makes good money sense.

The cylinder head you are considering is already accepted in some combos. It is being evaluated for some additional ones. We have a set , and without naming names, 4 or 5 competitors in division 3 have them in use also. We have them as 083 replacements, Call Dave Layer @ Heads Up, he can give you all the details. What I am reading between the lines is you are not looking at building one of the already accepted combos, correct? What combo is in question. Dave is the one to ask, but I'm thinking the 083 and the 041 are the only ones approved as to date
