I am changing my 89 fox over to a C4 from a 5 speed. I'm down to wiring the park safety switch. I thought I would use the wiring from the clutch interlock, after unpluging the conneter I see that it has 3 wires all blue with a red strip and just two terminals in the plug. What going on here? and what's all the outhers in the 2nd plug on the clutch? Help!
thanks slickfoot 3955 |

mine is an automatic car. the connector under the dash has a jumper plug from the factory that just loops from one wire to the other. perfect spot to wire in your safety switch. not sure where the other wires go or what they're for.

One switch allows you to engage the starter when the clutch is pushed all the way to the floor. the other switch engages just as you begin to push the clutch, it shuts off the cruise control.
