Does anyone know the specs on a BG400 fuel pump. I can't find any info on it so far. Is the 3rd opening for a return line to the cell/tank? If I wanted to run an original gas tank, could I block off that opening? Thanks

NO!! Do not plug it. That is your fuel return and your regulator. Needs to be at least a number 8 line (hose).

#12 line inlet port on pump--- #10 line outlet port on pump to carb---- #10 line for return to tank and at least a #8 vent in the tank + 25 AMP in line fuse to prevent blowing fuse when pump surges on start up--- DO NOT BLOCK THE RETURN OUTLET PORT
