Default Another Seat Question.

I used Kirkey seats in my car. I have them set up to where one seat is a 18" wide seat for me and the other is a 16" seat for when my kid drives it. I have them mounted to where they can be switched back and forth from drivers to passengers side depending on which one of us is behind the wheel.

This is from the 2014 rule book.
Full-size aftermarket or corporate OEM front
seats permitted; must be upholstered and supported. Driver and
passenger-side seats must be identical in appearance.

So here is my question. Both of mine are the same seat but one is a little narrower than the other. Honestly when they are in the car you have to almost know they are different in order to tell its that subtle of a difference. Is this OK? Since they don't EXACTLY match.

I would find it hard to believe any tech would look at something like that or be that anal.

Rob,
I have different sized seats in mine. My wife rides in the car for tech and warming the car up. So she has a seat just for her. It is the same seat like yours just different widths. Tech never said anything last season.

Some things should be left unsaid. EVERYONE knows there is absolutely no advantage. Don't give some newbie tech inspector a reason to put a new notch on his gun.
