Andy , check out the K&R switch panel and wireing kit .
Best bang for the buck , very complete and bullet proof .
Has very high grade wire with twisted Pairs for ignition input and coil. .
It has an integrated relay ,fuse and termination panel .
Even has heat shrink tube and big quality terminals.

I went with a company called EZ Wiring when I redid my 85 Mustang. Nice kit and pretty easy to install. It is GM based like the majority of them but putting it into my FORD wasn't a big deal overall. I paid around $175 for the kit. 18 circuit kit I believe.

For a nice GM style wiring connector selection, Caspers Electronics makes a nice useful assortment of Weatherpack terminals and hardshells. Get a good crimper and you are in business.

The K&R kit is great, you will have lots of wire, terminals and heat shrink left over for spares to keep in the trailer. The circuits are individually fused, and each circuit has an LED to indicate fuse condition. All of the wiring is already labeled throughout entire wire length.

Spaghetti Menders Wiring Systems. They make really nice kits with good quality components.

x2 on Spaghetti Menders. Top quality parts plus outstanding technical support from the owner to help with installation questions.
